How to stop worrying about things you can't control

About six months ago my boss was laid off. From the day he told me the news I somehow convinced myself that it was going to happen to me too. I told my husband, my parents and my closest friends. I was 100% sure about it.

I started looking for other jobs, calculating my "exit package", planning how I was going to use the money. Shall I take some time off? Shall I finally give this yoga business a serious try? Yoga alone won't give me the money to pay the bills...

For months I couldn't stop worrying about something which was completely out of my control. All those stories I built in my mind were an attempt to protect myself, to give me the illusion I was safe.

Do you want to know how the story ends?

I'm still in my corporate job and actually 2 new people will join my team at the end of the month.

Funny thing, right?

It's soooo difficult to accept that some things are out of your control, because you want to feel safe and prepared at any given moment of your life. But rather than building an imaginary story in your mind and dwelling in anxiety and worry, you have the power to choose again.

My guest today, Michelle Taylor, is going to tell you how!

Michelle is a yoga teacher, intuitive coach and the co-author of the Amazon bestseller, The Divine Power of The Feminine Collective which is a collective of women who have come together in unity to share their personal journey. A personal journey of living a life on purpose, a life that is connected to our truth and a life that fully embodies our feminine energy.

She is also the founder of Find your happy which is a 6 week online programme packed with tools and practices towards a healthy and happy life with balanced emotions.

Michelle is a wonderful, wise woman and I'm really grateful I had the opportunity to spend some time with her to talk about emotions and how you can stop worrying about things you can't control using affirmations and breathing.

Are you ready to own your emotions and to feel empowered?
